HELPING HANDS
Each year the PTA takes on the task of raising
money to help support Field Trips, Art Projects, Music and Dance Education,
Family Fun Nights, Assemblies, and many more programs for the students at McKinley Elementary
School. It takes parent
involvement in order to keep these programs and projects running and we will be
asking for your support and help ALL YEAR long. Everyone can help! Here are a few ways that you can help

Save your fresh & easy receipts! For every $20 you spend, McKinley receives $1. Start collecting your receipts and drop them into the fresh & easy box located in the school office. The start date is September 12th and runs through December 31st. We will once again be having our McKinley Shopping Night at Fresh & Easy. The will be on December 13th from 4:00 until 8:00 pm.
GoodSearch & GoodShop Goodsearch.com is a Yahoo-powered search engine, that donates a penny per search, to the charity its users designate-like our PTA. Use it just as you would any search engine. GoodShop.com is an online shopping mall which donates up to 37% of each purchase to our PTA! There are hundreds of great stores like Gap, ebay,Barnes & Noble. Every time you place an order, you'll be supporting our PTA. Just click on the GoodSearch & GoodShop link above and be sure to enter McKinley Elementary School. ![]() Log on to www.escrip.com and register your Von’s Club Card, Macy's, Target, ATM Cards and other Major Credit Cards, and earn money for McKinley every time you shop. LABELS! Collect “BOX TOPS”
from products like Pillsbury, Betty Crocker, Bisquick, Gold Medal Flour,
Yoplait, General Mills Cereals, Old El Paso, Ziploc and Kleenex, just to
mention a few. Just clip and bring
them to the School Office. Each
Box Top is worth 10¢. That might
not seem like much, but it all adds up.

MY SCHOOL IS COOL! My School is Cool program
begins in September. Shop at the
Burbank Town Center, it’s surroundings stores (like Ikea), and dine at
surrounding restaurants (like California Pizza Kitchen) and you can help earn
$$ for McKinley. Make sure to save your receipts and turn
them into the MCKINLEY LOCKER, located outside of Old Navy and the Information desk, or the School Office. Last
year, just for simply participating, we earned $500.00. ![]() RECYLE PRINTER CARTRIDGES, CELL PHONES & BATTERIES! Help our PTA earn extra money by bringing in your used printer cartridges, old cell phones, and batteries to the school office. |
